We have had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a lot of family in town, and were able to share in the festivities with them!
Will you look at how sassy my daughter is in blue above? I have never seen her stand like that before so hopefully her "13 year old sassy stance" is just a coincidence of how I pulled her towards me. lol.
We got up and traveled to the not-so-distant neighboring town of Woodruff Utah to attend their parade. For some reason our town doesn't have one! We went with my younger brother Shawn and his family.

We enjoyed the parade...twice! Woodruff is a very small town, and so the parade travels down the only main road, and then turns around and comes back. So you see the whole thing twice. How awesome is that! :)
The girls had fun getting candy, of course!
How awesome is this "Mater" truck!
Tessa loves babies and took every opportunity to hold her cousin Callie.
For lunch we decided that we needed to eat good old fashioned American food to celebrate our Nation...so Wally's Burgers it was! Tessa practiced her rifle shooting while we were there.
That evening after it was dark we went with the whole family to watch the city fireworks.
