What's been going on...

There is always an "After Holiday's Lull" where we don't have much going on at all. But here are some pictures that I took with my phone in the last month or so...just to catch you up on our lives. Tessa has some awesome hair when she wakes up in the mornings. :)
We've gotten a lot of snow!!
This is a sledding activity that we took the Young Men and Young Women on. We brought our kids with us. It was really fun!

Below is NOT the YM/YW activity...it's Sledding Grandpa style...

...in other words, being pulled by a 4 wheeler. :)
When I was a kid Dad pulled us behind the suburban.

Don't look at my windows. We need new ones. They are double paned, 80's style, drafty windows, that get condensation in between the panes where it can't be cleaned. Sorry!

BUT!! There have been so many deer around this winter. We see deer almost every day, and our yard is full of tracks and deer poop. But they will come right up to your front door (As seen below) to find food.

Tessa and Maggie were invited to their first "friend birthday party." A cute little princess from our ward had a princess hair party at a salon in town. The girls all got their hair done like princesses! :)

Josh as been working 80+ hours a week, and then sleeping most of the time he is home. It's been hard on the girls who are always asking if Daddy can come home. He is working on his grandma's furnace this weekend, and then leaving Monday for 4 days for work. Because of that, I demanded a date night with Daddy. We all went out for Chinese (Now that we can...now that the Chinese place in town has new owners, and you can get your food in less than 2 hours!) It was so fun to spend some time together as a family.
Maggie was funny with the pepper. You can't see it very well because it's blurry, but she kept wanting pepper on her food, so we would tell her yes, and she would shake the pepper over her plate...only she wouldn't turn it upside down. She would just leave it upright, and not get any pepper out. But she had not idea, and we just laughed under our breath and let her have as much as she wanted. :)

Tessa LOVES Chinese food-especially chicken. She ate more than me!!!!
I think we might start having monthly family date nights. We need them!
