Fablehaven, a novel by Brandon Mull, defines fairies as: Mischeivious creatures who often run amok. They love to look at themselves in the mirror, because they know they are remarkably beautiful. If you try giving one of them a compliment, they will all crowd in for their turn. That describes MY fairies perfectly!!
