We had a great, and very festive 4th! We got up bright and early (which means before 9am in the summertime) and took the girls to the childen's bike parade. They got to decorate their bikes, and then parade them through the state park. It was fun. (Sorta, there was some crying because it is hard to ride a bike slow.)
Then we took the girls over to the carnival at Hamblin Park and let them play the games, and all of the bouncy houses they had there. It was a lot of fun. The girls got their faces painted. We got cotton candy, and shaved ice, and tried to enjoy the extreme heat! It was really a good time.

That evening we had a BBQ at my dad's house, and then went to watch the fireworks. Our town in right over the boarder of Wyoming, and so we get a lot of Utahans in town to take advantage of our lax fireworks laws. So every 4th the town is ablaze with fireworks! It is really something to see.
We are proud to be Americans. We love our freedom, and support our constitution!
