Once there was a Snowman! (Or Two)

We started a Christmas Activity Advent Calendar on the 1st of December. We have to do a fun activity every day to count down to Christmas. Today it was "Build a Snowman." And the snow was PERFECT for it. It's been melting a little bit, and so it stuck really well. If we would have had to build a snowman a few days ago it would have been too fluffy and not stuck at all.
(Literally it was like that stuff you buy to sprinkle all over your Christmas Villages to look like snow.)
The girls had a blast. When I told Maggie that we were going to go outside in the snow she said, "I don't want to." She has been a little miss unadventurous lately. But when she heard it was to build a snow man she was so excited. Usually she just kind of stands around and lets Tessa do everything, and doesn't want to get dirty. But today was the opposite. She wanted to build the whole thing by herself!

And this is "Frosty." The girls named him that all on their own. Original huh?
(The glares in the pictures are from the snow...it was snowing and falling on my lens. Sorry.)

And then they didn't want to go in, so we went to the front yard to build another one. This one they named "Santa Claus."
Here's for putting a Check by "Build a snowman!" 21 days to go!

Those snowmen look great! What a fun activity. We're doing the same type of advent calendar too, and I'd still the idea from you but we at a shortage of snow here.

Looks like lots of fun! We don't have enough snow to make a snowman!
